AppShield service terms

1. Request and acceptance

A review request is an invitation for AppShield to assess fit and current capacity. AppShield may accept, decline, or propose a different scope. Do not send a build, credentials, or review materials with the initial request.

An acceptance email identifies the app, Apple App Store or Google Play, build, primary locale, primary user role, and agreed screens or flows. If that email conflicts with a general description on the website, the narrower written acceptance controls for that engagement.

2. Review scope

The $99 review requires a runnable build that lets Revo independently exercise the agreed flows. A recording alone supports only a separately scoped and priced materials review; unexercised behavior is marked Not Evaluated. Additional stores, builds, roles, locales, device families, regions, or flows require a new written scope and may cost more.

3. Deliverables

The review includes a written PDF and Markdown report that records the reviewed submission and test environment, provides a scoped recommendation, ranks applicable findings, shows the evidence used, links official store requirements where relevant, separates policy from guidance or best practice, recommends corrections and recheck conditions, and lists material areas that were not evaluated.

The report is delivered to the requester's confirmed email or agreed restricted folder. AppShield does not submit the app, change store-console settings, write production code, provide legal advice, or represent the customer before Apple or Google.

4. Price, payment, and taxes

The introductory price is $99 USD for single-store scopes AppShield accepts and for which payment is confirmed on or before October 31, 2026; the standard single-store price afterward is $149 USD, and the price stated in the acceptance email governs. Payment is requested only after written scope acceptance and is processed through the secure checkout supplied by AppShield. Do not pay through a link obtained from another person, and never send payment credentials by email.

The acceptance email states a payment deadline. A slot is held until that deadline and reserved when the payment provider confirms payment. AppShield normally sends payment confirmation and intake instructions within one business day. The customer is responsible for taxes or charges shown at checkout and for any fees imposed by the customer's bank or payment provider.

5. Complete intake and the delivery clock

Unless the acceptance email states a different deadline, AppShield delivers within 24–48 clock hours after emailing “Intake complete.” That confirmation is sent only after all three conditions are met:

1. AppShield has accepted the written scope;
2. payment is confirmed; and
3. every required intake item is complete, usable, and safely accessible.

If access fails, a required item is missing, the customer changes the build or scope, or AppShield must wait for a customer response, the clock does not start or is paused. AppShield will identify the problem and confirm the new timing when it is resolved. If AppShield expects to miss the agreed deadline for its own reasons, the customer may choose a revised written deadline or a full refund.

6. Cancellation and refunds

• Before payment: there is nothing to cancel and no fee is due.
• Customer cancellation before review work begins: review work begins when AppShield sends an email labeled “Review started.” A customer who cancels before that notice receives a full refund to the original payment method.
• AppShield cancellation or inability to perform the accepted review: AppShield will issue a full refund.
• After the “Review started” notice: the fee is not refundable for a change of mind, a later decision not to submit, a store decision, or findings the customer disagrees with. If AppShield fails to deliver the agreed report, the remedy is a full refund.
• Access or intake never completed: AppShield may cancel and refund the payment after giving the customer a reasonable opportunity to correct the missing or unusable intake.

A refund is sent through the original payment provider. Bank posting times are outside AppShield's control. These terms do not remove any non-waivable rights provided by applicable law.

7. Customer authorization and responsibilities

The customer represents that they own the app and materials or have authority to provide them and authorize the agreed testing. The customer is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of supplied declarations, inventories, listing drafts, access instructions, and previous-rejection information.

Use only a disposable, least-privilege test account with invented test data. Unless expressly agreed in the scope, do not authorize real purchases, production changes, destructive account actions, or access to a production system.

The customer must revoke folder links, TestFlight or test-track access, and disposable credentials after the recheck closes. AppShield may pause work if supplied access or materials create a security, privacy, legal, or safety concern, identify what must be removed or replaced, and resume only after a safe intake is confirmed. If the accepted review cannot safely continue, AppShield will cancel it and issue a full refund.

8. What the review does not promise

AppShield is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, certified by, or an authorized reviewer for Apple or Google. The report is an evidence-based readiness review within the accepted scope. It is not a compliance certificate, store approval guarantee, legal opinion, privacy-law audit, security or penetration test, accessibility certification, or exhaustive examination of every device, role, region, backend behavior, or policy.

Apple and Google apply their own rules, judgment, testing, and later policy changes. They can raise issues outside the reviewed evidence or reach a different conclusion. The customer remains responsible for the submission and all decisions made from the report.

9. Clarification and focused recheck

The review includes one consolidated round of written clarification questions about the delivered report and one focused recheck of the originally flagged items. Send the questions and recheck materials within 7 calendar days after the initial report unless the acceptance email sets a different date. AppShield responds within 2 business days after confirming the clarification request or recheck materials are complete. A new build, broader feature set, additional store, role, locale, or unrelated issue is new scope.

10. Materials, confidentiality, and privacy

The customer keeps ownership of the app and supplied materials and grants AppShield a limited permission to access, copy, test, and annotate them only as needed for the accepted service. AppShield keeps ownership of its review method, templates, research registry, and general know-how. The customer may use the delivered report for their own development and submission preparation.

AppShield does not publish client materials, findings, or a testimonial without separate written permission. Information is handled under the AppShield Privacy Notice, including its working-copy deletion and service-record retention periods.

11. Service responsibility

AppShield will perform the accepted review with reasonable care and deliver the agreed report. The report narrows visible, evidence-based submission risk within the accepted scope; it does not transfer responsibility for the app, its data, or the store submission to AppShield. These terms do not exclude any right, remedy, or responsibility that applicable law does not allow the parties to exclude.

12. Changes and contact

The terms in effect when AppShield accepts the review apply to that engagement unless both sides agree to a change in writing. If one part cannot be enforced, the remaining terms continue to apply.
